# BMI chart not showing plots when zoomed out

When viewing a bmi centile chart we have two plots just above 40 bmi.  The user clicks to zoom out but the chart only goes to 30 bmi so they can’t see the plots

Thank you for reporting @Lindsey , I have also raised this to track on our GitHub [Very high BMI values disappear from lifetime chart · Issue #177 · rcpch/digital-growth-charts-react-component-library](https://github.com/rcpch/digital-growth-charts-react-component-library/issues/177).

I would be grateful for @eatyourpeas’s thoughts. I suspect for patients with this sort of BMI a specialist growth chart is not so useful compared to tracking the values over time in a table?

If needed we can refer this to our growth charts clinical board for advice.

THis looks to me like something we need to fix. BMI visualisation for the very overweight child is difficult, and you are showing quite an extreme example, but for all that we should be able to change the y axis cut offs to include the plotted data
