Hi all, not sure how many in this forum would be interested but I thought might catch the attention of some. I'm running a small, beginner-friendly conference for Clinicians Who Code (or Clinicians Who Want To Learn To Code). It's £45 to attend which helps us cover the costs of the venue.

Cool thanks @michael.barton - I may well do more, and in fact probably will make them less 'clinician-only' and more inclusive of other groups. Might be something we could run at RCPCH HQ or as an RCPCH event?

This time I wanted to address the unique challenges faced by CwCs, but they are a very niche group!

The idea of this one is less 'hackday' and more instructional/showcase. But many other types of similar events could be imagined. The venue is very nice but not too expensive, so it takes away a lot of the risk and admin/organisational overhead of a larger/pricier venue.

Totally agree about inclusiveness - I would not want to do a session just for members.

I think the price of our sixth floor meeting room with catering + your day rate is the sort of thing I would try and put in next years budget for my team.

I’d also like to put sponsoring NHS Hack Day in there too but this could be a good “we’ve removed something but kept something” option if that doesn’t fly.
