# How can I install the charts once I have access to the API?

The RCPCH digital growth charts API returns the centiles and standard deviation scores for individual childhood measurements and these need plotting.

RCPCH have produce a charting component which is written in React. The documentation [here](https://growth.rcpch.ac.uk/integrator/using-the-chart-component/) details how to install the component from [NPM](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@rcpch/digital-growth-charts-react-component-library).

As of summer 2025 though you don't have to install from NPM. It is possible now to pull it in from our [jsdelivr](https://www.jsdelivr.com/package/npm/@rcpch/digital-growth-charts-react-component-library) and [unpkg](https://app.unpkg.com/@rcpch/digital-growth-charts-react-component-library@7.3.8/files/build/umd) CDNs.
