# Republic of Ireland - information on Irish Growth Charts standards

While researching something else I found this information from the Irish HSE on their Growth Charts arrangements. Since at some point we may wish to support Irish implementations of the dGC, it's good to know they use UK-WHO.

> "In October 2010, in Ireland, a national policy decision was made by the (then) Department of Health and Children to adopt the UK-WHO growth charts and integrate them into child health services in Ireland.

As far as I can see the only 'adaptation' that has been done is to add the HSE logo to a scanned version of the Growth Charts. There's nothing here to suggest they have amended the references, so I think they are pragmatically and sensibly using the normal UK-WHO refs.
